Each time your patient visits, you or your staff should
record that visit into your Level for Professionals
system. All the visits may be viewed in list form by
clicking on 'View all visits for this patient' button on
the 'Control center' screen. The list may be viewed in
either forward or reverse time order. Each entry will
also appear as a dot on the timeline of the patients
'Bar Graphs' screen within their copy of Single User
LEVEL within your Level for Professionals system.
When that dot is clicked the entire entry pops up for
viewing. As the dots are in time order and the patients
Blood Glucose Levels (BGLs) are also on that graph,
you may view the effect of prescriptions, advice, etc.
that you gave in this visit on the patient's subsequent
BGLs. As the patient's medication intake can also be
there graphed, you may view their compliance with
your instructions.
..not only will all your recorded 'Patient Vists' be visible to you, both in list and timeline form, but if this
patient is using 'Internet Data Storage' , the 'Patient Visits' entries of other professionals the patient is
also seeing, a Dietician, a Physical Therapist, psychologist, Obstretician, etc, will also be visible to you, if
they are also running Level for Professsionals.
You can see the diet prescribed by the Nutritionist, track the pregnancy with the Obstetrician, control the
hypertension in coordination with the Cardiologist. No more conflicting prescriptions or relying on the
patient's memory as to what medications they are taking via their other physicians, or conflicting with a diet
prescribed by a Dietician..
Level Healthware espouses the philiosophy of maximum openness and transparency among the
professionals the patient is seeing, believing this gives the best benefit to the patient. We at Level
Healthware would very much like to hear your opinion on this issue as we realize it may be a sensitive issue
( feedback@LevelForDiabetes.com ). Your reply will be treated in strictest confidentiality.
The entry is free form, you may use it as you like. It is
expected you will each visit enter their vital signs plus
any complaints or reports they have, as well as the
results of any Medical Tests you may take.
On the same 'Bar Graphs' there is another line of
dots on the timeline. They are called 'Medical Dots'.
These are the entries of the patient, recording the
same visit from their viewpoint, You can compare what
you said with what the patient heard you say ( or
wanted to hear you say ) and remove any
communication problems.
